Žižović ahead of away match against GOŠK

The football players of Banja Luka’s Borac continue their battle for the championship title in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As part of the 16th round of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the red and blue team will visit GOŠK in Gabela today at 6:30 PM.

  • “We continue in the rhythm of two matches per week, which has been the case practically throughout the first half of the season. There wasn’t much time to rest after the match against Sloga. The players had a day to recover, and then we headed to Gabela for a tough clash with GOŠK. We face another demanding match where, in line with our season’s goals, we will be aiming for victory,” said Borac’s coach, Mladen Žižović.

He added that their next opponent is currently in the relegation zone, but emphasized that this won’t lead to complacency.

  • “There are no easy matches in the Premier League, and every duel requires maximum focus and concentration. Tonight, we have one more training session, after which we will decide on the lineup for the match against GOŠK. However, whoever takes the field has a clear task—to give their best so we can return to Banja Luka with three points,” Žižović stressed.

After 15 rounds, Borac is in second place on the table with 35 points from 14 matches, while GOŠK is in 11th place with seven points and one more match played than the Banja Luka team.
