The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin for the invitation to participate in the reception he organized for leaders and participants of the BRICS Summit, where he had the opportunity to talk with important people about the current situation and Republika Srpska.

“I had the opportunity to talk with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres. I am glad that I had the opportunity to greet many delegations from Bolivia to the Far East,” Dodik told SRNA and RTRS. He added that today he is expecting a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, with whom he will discuss cooperation between Srpska and Russia and the BRICS Summit, as well as meetings with representatives of certain Russian companies. “The BRICS summit sends a message of peace. This is not a militant gathering, but a gathering of peace and cooperation. The very idea of ​​BRICS is that sovereign states, peoples and nations cooperate without any burdens and efforts to impose anything on them,” Dodik concluded. BRICS gathered political representatives of 36 countries, including the delegation of Republika Srpska led by President Dodik.

Republika Srpska participates in the BRICS Summit as an observer.
