The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated that the process against him and the acting director of the Official Gazette, Miloš Lukić, is politically motivated and that various things were offered in exchange for an acquittal.
- I was offered various things for an acquittal, including the centralization of BiH, which I, of course, refused. This is why the process is becoming more complicated and is being expedited. There is nothing they can obtain to ensure anything in this grotesque procedure that is not in accordance with the Constitution. Everything is a lie, said Dodik.
He emphasized that he was also offered to agree on matters related to property, which he rejected.
Dodik mentioned that he was accused of showing disrespect towards Christian Schmidt, who imposed the law while fulfilling his constitutional duties.
He noted that Judge Sena Uzunović requested respect for the act on the right to self-determination during today’s hearing, expressing his satisfaction that they “have started to consider the convention that speaks of the right of peoples to self-determination.”
They lie that this is not provided for by Dayton. Peoples have the right to self-determination, he stated.
As a reminder, a hearing was held today in the Court of BiH regarding the president of Republika Srpska and the acting director of the Official Gazette.
