The International Economic Forum will open today in St. Petersburg, with delegations from more than 130 countries participating.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend the Forum from today until June 7th.

The presence of a delegation from Republika Srpska, led by President Milorad Dodik, who has been participating in this event for years, has been announced.

President Dodik is expected to participate in the Forum starting tomorrow.

A meeting between Dodik and Putin is planned to discuss the situation in BiH and the UN General Assembly resolution on Srebrenica, confirmed Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov. He added that the resolution on Srebrenica could exacerbate existing differences and increase the region’s conflict potential.

More than 17,000 participants from 136 countries have registered for the Forum, along with 3,400 representatives of global media.
