The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management of Republika Srpska, Savo Minić, has issued a call to agricultural producers in Srpska to apply for the public call for the procurement of agricultural machinery from Belarus from May 27 to May 31.
Minić stated to RTRS that the goal of this public call is to prepare high-quality regulations and gather data on which tractors and in what quantities will be needed.
All those who express interest will, he adds, have priority in the procurement of tractors after the publication of the regulations.
He recalled that the procurement of agricultural machinery is the result of an agreement between the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
“The agreement between Presidents Dodik and Lukashenko has been brought down to the level of two ministers, myself and the Minister of Industry of Belarus, and everything that needed to be signed has been signed. We are proceeding with a rapid market survey. I urge agricultural producers to be ready for cooperation so that we can prepare the regulations, which will be published in June. We have already agreed with the distributor, and the machinery is already on its way to Republika Srpska,” said Minić.
