The announcement by Montenegrin Prime Minister Miloјko Spajić that he will support the Srebrenica Resolution is morally, politically, and historically disastrous, stated the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.

“If they did not consider the stigma that this resolution imposes on the entire Serb people, they could at least wonder how about 40 percent of Montenegro’s citizens, who identify as Serbs, will feel,” the President of Srpska said on his X account.

Dodik remarked that Milo Đukanović was defeated in the elections, but the policy that is routinely detrimental to Serbs in Montenegro has, unfortunately, prevailed.

“This was confirmed tonight by Prime Minister Spajić,” said Dodik.

Montenegro’s Prime Minister Miloјko Spajić announced that his country will support the Srebrenica Resolution at the United Nations General Assembly but added that it will not co-sponsor it.
