Dean of the Faculty of Security Sciences in Banja Luka, Predrag Ćeranić, stated that the latest decision by Christian Šmit, concerning the technical amendments to the Election Law of BiH, represents the opening of a new crisis in BiH and the creation of chaos.
Ćeranić emphasized that a response from the institutions of Republika Srpska, primarily the National Assembly, will surely follow, assessing that attacks on Republika Srpska today go through the Office of the High Representative (OHR).
“No matter how much the world power centers assure us that the Islamic State is behind the terrorist attack in Moscow, they also assure us that Šmit is behind the imposition of technical amendments to the Election Law of BiH with good intentions. We should not believe either, as there are power centers that dictate,” Ćeranić told reporters in Banja Luka.
On Tuesday, March 26, Šmit decided to impose technical amendments to the Election Law of BiH with the aim, he says, of “supporting the announced process of BiH’s accession to the EU.”
