“There are no more impositions – the era of a multipolar world has arrived,” stated Nenad Stevandić, President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, after addressing the members of the Russian Duma in Moscow.
He thanked the leadership of the Russian Duma for allowing him to address the members.
“We have affirmed the policy that every nation has an equal right to its political decision-making, choice, and property. Decisions and international acts will be made differently, and agreements will no longer be violated,” Stevandić mentioned.
He pointed out that the Serb people did not allow themselves to be drawn into anti-Russian hysteria.
“For the preservation of peace in the Balkans, it is necessary to respect every nation and its choice, and not to impose,” Stevandić said.
He mentioned that an agreement was signed between the National Assembly of Republika Srpska and the Russian Duma regarding the participation of five members from each side in a friendship group.
“This is for the expansion of inter-parliamentary cooperation and good relations,” Stevandić noted.
