Officials from Srpska, who provided support for the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the acting director of the Official Gazette, Miloš Lukić, outside the Court of BiH, have declared the proceedings against them as senseless.
The current European judo champion, Nemanja Majdov, said he came in front of the Court of BiH to support Srpska.
- It is my duty as a citizen to support my president – Majdov stated to RTRS.
Citizens of Republika Srpska will continue to come in front of the Court of BiH as long as it takes to stand on the ramparts of strong institutions led by the President of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated the Minister of Trade and Tourism of Republika Srpska, Denis Šulić, today in Sarajevo.
- The people of Republika Srpska come in increasing numbers from trial to trial to support President Dodik and the acting director of the Official Gazette, Miloš Lukić. This shows that the people of Republika Srpska believe in and stand behind the policies defined by the Dayton Peace Agreement, that is, a strong and stable Srpska with clearly defined competencies. We will not give up on this – Šulić emphasized.
He highlighted that he came in front of the Court of BiH, where hearings in the proceedings against Dodik and Lukić for disrespecting the decisions of Christian Schmidt are scheduled for today, in his capacity as a citizen, not as a minister.
The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management of Republika Srpska, Savo Minić, stated today in Sarajevo that the processes conducted against the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the acting director of the Official Gazette, Miloš Lukić, have no legal basis.
- This is yet another episode of a saga that absolutely has no legal basis. It’s being judged outside of the Criminal Code of BiH, outside of what the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH brings, it’s judged based on the act of someone who was not legally elected – Minić told reporters before the hearing.
According to him, the best option would have been if the German Foreign Minister, Annalena Baerbock, had taken her compatriot from Sarajevo back to Germany yesterday to do something more useful.
The Mayor of Trebinje, Mirko Ćurić, stated today in Sarajevo that the Court of BiH must immediately halt the senseless proceedings against the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the acting director of the “Official Gazette,” Miloš Lukić.
- This will be written about in textbooks for generations to come, that there exists a country somewhere in the world where the president is being tried simply because someone is keen on pressing charges – Ćurić highlighted in front of the building of the Court of BiH.
Ćurić stressed that each time there is a hearing, more and more people come in front of the building of the Court of BiH to support Dodik and Lukić because they see how senseless the process conducted against them for disrespecting the decisions of Christian Schmidt is.
The Mayor of Srebrenica, Mladen Grujičić, noted that a large number of citizens came in front of the Court of BiH also for justice.
- By coming here, we stand with the President of Srpska. The imposition by foreigners is creating an even worse situation – Grujičić highlighted.
