Branimir Kojic, President of the Assembly of the Republic Organization of Families of Captured and Fallen Fighters and Missing Civilians, believes that issuing indictments against six individuals from Zvornik for alleged genocide in Srebrenica is a “New Year’s greeting” from Western embassies directed through the Court of BiH to every Serb, as well as to Republika Srpska. He argues that even during holidays, the Bosnia and Herzegovina judiciary demonstrates its obedience to foreign mentors.
Kojic emphasizes that this manner of action continues to display hatred, force, and disrespect.
“Even during festive days, they don’t leave us in peace, and they minimize our victims. Yet, during these festive days, we visit the gravesites, we talk, and we will continue to talk as long as we are alive about what the perpetrators did to us, people we thought were our neighbors,” said Kojic.
He evaluates this as an old mantra and game plan aiming to sideline a memorial service to be held in four days at Kravica, the site of the genocide against Serb, which, according to these “quasi-judges,” is probably not even worth considering.
“What about Kravica? Will anyone be held accountable for the murders? Will anyone be held accountable for the bloody Christmas? Will anyone be held accountable for exhuming dead Serbs and the additional massacre of their bodies that Christmas?” Kojic questioned.
He questions whether there will be accountability for the burning of property and the expulsion of people, and if there is any justice for these incidents. Kojic concludes that the Bosnia and Herzegovina judiciary does not take cases like Kravica, Bjelovac, Skelani, and others into consideration.
The Muslim forces from Srebrenica wich were under the command of Naser Orić in Kravica.
According to Kojic, the Bosnia and Herzegovina judiciary lacks processes because it mostly involves the killing of Serb civilians.
“They were not killed because they attacked; they were attacked. But the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina doesn’t care. They are interested in demonizing Serbs and raising indictments against any Serb,” Kojic stated.
He mentioned that there are still acknowledgments from individuals who, as they claim, “liberated” Kravica.
“They talk about carrying a gun at 16 and attacking a Serb village. If by any chance they died, that would be genocide because a child was killed, right?” Kojic pointed this out.
Kojic observed that such individuals are free today. “Naser Oric is free today. You freed the butcher, but you arrested and indicted every Serb. How long will this go on? Do you think we will remain silent? No, even if we are next in line, and we know you’re waiting for us,” Kojic cautioned.
He noted that Serb are arrested even before Christmas. “You arrest and indict before Republic Day, but also before the anniversary of the massacre in Skelani on January 16, because you do it every year. Foreigners pay you handsomely for that, but know that you are doing wrong because you don’t act according to law and justice,” Kojic concluded.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has filed charges against six individuals for the alleged genocide in Srebrenica.
The indictment was brought against Lazar Ristic (66), Mladen Mihajlovic (51), Sreten Milosevic (65), Drago Ivanovic (57), Stanoj Birčaković (52), and Milorad Birčaković (61), as announced by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
These individuals are former members of the Zvornik Brigade of the Army of Republika Srpska and were arrested in Zvornik by the Investigation and Protection Agency of BiH on December 15 last year.
