“President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik stated today that political Sarajevo is only interested in the European path if it aligns with the attempt to unitarize Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Dodik assessed that the lack of any reaction from political Sarajevo to the stalled EU accession talks once again shows that those parties are not sincere when they speak about the European path.
‘They are not interested, unless that path aligns with the attempt to unitarize Bosnia and Herzegovina,’ Dodik stated on his Instagram profile in a review of the past week.
He reminded that the European path is not disputed for Republika Srpska, nor is it questioned, but it must respect the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the coordination mechanism, and ensure the visibility of Republika Srpska.
Last week, Dodik discussed the functioning of the authorities in the joint institutions at the BiH level with the President of the HDZ BiH, Dragan Čović, and Borjana Krišto. In Belgrade, he met with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, conveying the stance of the citizens of Republika Srpska that he and the policies he represents have majority support.”
