The delegation from the University of Banja Luka, led by Radoslav Gajanin, the rector, currently on a working visit to China, today visited the Innovation Center for the Development of Biomedical Technologies at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in Shanghai.

The host was the university rector, Vu Tao, who introduced the Banja Luka delegation to the latest advancements in various medical fields, notably medical aids for patient rehabilitation and recovery utilizing artificial intelligence.

“In November, an agreement was reached in Banja Luka between the University of Medicine and Health Sciences and the University of Banja Luka to establish a similar center at the University of Banja Luka,” stated the University of Banja Luka.

Today, Gajanin also met with the director of the University Hospital at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in Shanghai, Du Qing. They discussed potential opportunities for the exchange of physicians, professors, and medical students, followed by a tour of the hospital.

Accompanying Gajanin on the multi-day working visit to China are Professor Dalibor Kesić, the Vice-Rector for Human and Material Resources, Associate Professor Ljiljana Stević, the head of the Sinology study program, and Assistant Anja Mudrenović.
