Minister of Energy and Mining of Republika Srpska, Petar Djokic, highlighted today in Banja Luka that Republika Srpska has a sincere and proven friend and partner in Russia, with whom cooperation and strengthening relations will continue.

In a discussion with the delegation from the Nizhny Novgorod region, Djokic expressed satisfaction that Republika Srpska is recognized as a reliable partner in the Nizhny Novgorod region in the realization of joint projects, which was the primary purpose of establishing cooperation in 2018 when the Cooperation Agreement was signed, as announced by the Ministry of Energy and Mining of Republika Srpska.

“Since then, numerous activities have been implemented in various spheres of life. Without mutual respect and esteem, there is no development in international relations, and we attach great importance to this. Representatives from Nizhny Novgorod said that this region, as before, will support all initiatives and proposals from Republika Srpska and do everything to ensure their full implementation.

The Russian delegation presented Djokic with two certificates of appreciation for his contribution to economic and scientific-educational cooperation.

During the meeting, it was mentioned that Djokic would visit Nizhny Novgorod in the first week of December.
