Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto has arrived in Tuzla, where he will visit two Italian EUFOR members seriously injured in the helicopter crash in Brčko at the University Clinical Center.
The minister was accompanied by medical specialists from Italy, and they were welcomed by Defense Minister in the Council of Ministers Zukan Helez and Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH, Lieutenant General Gojko Knežević.
The Italian minister will also visit the nine lightly injured EUFOR members who are being treated at medical facilities in Brčko.
Crosetto is expected to travel to Sarajevo in the afternoon, where he will be met at the airport by Deputy Defense Minister in the Council of Ministers Aleksandar Goganović, who will accompany him to the EUFOR base in Butmir.
EUFOR said that two members of the Italian Armed Forces and two members of the Italian Military Red Cross were killed in the crash of the Italian helicopter near Brčko yesterday, while 11 people were injured.
