Dodik: OHR report to UN Security Council filled with inaccuracies and political clichés

Milorad Dodik has strongly criticized the Office of the High Representative (OHR) report submitted to the United Nations Security Council, describing it as a document filled with inaccurate information, arbitrary assessments and worn-out political clichés.

According to Dodik, the report represents yet another example of recycling previous documents and repeating accusations against Republika Srpska while presenting political interpretations as established facts.

He compared the process to the practice of copying old reports rather than producing an objective assessment of the political situation in BiH.

Dodik: OHR continues to pursue a one-sided political agenda

“Such a document does not represent a serious contribution to understanding the situation, but rather a continuation of a one-sided political agenda,” Dodik stated.

He argued that the OHR has operated for decades as an instrument of foreign supervision, raising fundamental questions about sovereignty, the rule of law and the democratic legitimacy of institutions.

“For decades, the OHR has been an instrument of a foreign protectorate, whose activities raise fundamental questions about sovereignty, the rule of law and the democratic legitimacy of institutions,” Dodik said.

He also questioned the democratic legitimacy of decisions imposed by international officials without parliamentary approval.

“There can be no democracy, which they persistently try to lecture us about, where an unelected foreigner assumes the right to stand above parliaments, constitutions, the will of citizens and even the United Nations,” he emphasized.

Calls on UN Security Council to annul decisions imposed by High Representatives

Dodik said he expects the UN Security Council to annul decisions imposed by Christian Schmidt, Valentin Inzko and other High Representatives that were not adopted through parliamentary procedures.

“We expect the Security Council to annul all imposed decisions by Christian Schmidt, Valentin Inzko and others whose decisions did not go through parliamentary procedures or receive legitimacy from democratically elected representatives,” Dodik stated.

He further called for such decisions to be declared legally null and void and removed from the legal system.

“We also expect all such decisions to be declared null and void and removed from legal effect because they represent a mockery of the law,” he said.

Dodik concluded that the central issue surrounding the OHR cannot be resolved through reports or political justifications.

“That is the essence of the problem, which cannot be concealed by any reports or political excuses,” Dodik concluded.
