SNSD candidate for president of Republika Srpska Savo Minić won 276,426 votes, or 52.24 percent, according to preliminary data from the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, based on results from 100 percent of polling stations.
SDS candidate Branko Blanuša received 220,937 votes, or 41.75 percent, according to the latest figures.
A total of 529,138 ballots, or 95.25 percent, were valid.
There were 19,326 blank invalid ballots, accounting for 3.48 percent of the total, while another 7,036 ballots, or 1.27 percent, were declared invalid on other grounds.
