Borac Banja Luka defeated Široki Brijeg 3–2 away at Pecara in the eighth round of the BiH Premier League.
With the victory, Vinko Marinović’s side continued its pursuit of league leader Zrinjski, once again reducing the gap to two points. Borac also extended its winning streak against the team from western Herzegovina.
Borac took the lead in the 27th minute through Nikola Juričić, with the visitors taking a 1–0 advantage into halftime.
The second half brought plenty of excitement and four more goals.
The home side equalized through Virgili in the 51st minute, but Herrera restored Borac’s lead seven minutes later with a goal from a free kick.
Široki Brijeg responded once again, with Matić making it 2–2 in the 60th minute.
Just three minutes later, young Matej Deket scored what proved to be the winning goal following an excellent assist from Hiroš, sealing a 3–2 victory for Borac.
