Borac Banja Luka defeated Zrinjski 1–0 in the derby of the seventh round of the BiH Premier League.
Borac secured the victory thanks to a goal from Sebastián Herrera in the closing moments of the first half.
The Red and Blues claimed an important three points and closed the gap on Zrinjski, who remain five points ahead but have played one match more than Vinko Marinović’s side.
The crowd in Banja Luka did not see a particularly spectacular encounter, with the match proving to be a tightly contested battle throughout the 90 minutes. However, the overall impression was that the better team ultimately came away with the victory.
Borac now sit second in the standings with 13 points and will next face Sloga in a postponed match from the second round.
Zrinjski remain top of the table with 18 points and will host Velež in the next round.
