Republika Srpska has a sincere friendship with Israel, a country that understands its history, present, and future, international relations expert Luciano Kaluža said.
Kaluža noted that Israel is one of the world’s most politically influential countries when it comes to geopolitics.
“Through its economic and political influence, as well as its military capabilities, Israel has positioned itself as one of the most influential countries in the world, and it provides support to Republika Srpska and its institutions,” Kaluža told SRNA.
He described this as a major achievement for Republika Srpska.
According to Kaluža, the Office for International Cooperation of Republika Srpska deserves significant credit for developing these relations, as it was established specifically to strengthen this type of international cooperation.
“The establishment of this office is beneficial for Republika Srpska,” Kaluža said, emphasizing the importance of further developing the strong friendship with the State of Israel.
Milorad Dodik and Ana Trišić Babić, acting director of the Office for International Cooperation of Republika Srpska, are in Jerusalem today, where they are scheduled to meet Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem.
They are also expected to attend an event marking the 10th anniversary of the death of former Israeli president and prime minister Shimon Peres, as well as a reception marking the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States.
