Sarajevo’s hypocrisy knows no bounds. Anti-Serb hostility and the most vicious insults and threats against anyone who, over the past several days, expressed condolences or mentioned the late General Ratko Mladić in a positive light show no signs of subsiding.
Serb doctors, actors and athletes are being fired over a single “click” or even because of farewell messages posted by their parents on social media.
As many as 55,000 complaints have been submitted to the judiciary in Sarajevo.
And while attempts are being made to deny General Mladić even the right to a dignified funeral, political Sarajevo has for years had no hesitation in celebrating its own people accused or convicted of war crimes as heroes.
