The phrases change, but the protagonists remain the same. Once, they spoke about human rights; today, they speak about the rule of law. Luigi Soreca remains consistent in his inconsistency, President Milorad Dodik said.
“He, who wholeheartedly supported Schmidt’s imposition of laws and the judicial farce that resulted from it, continues to insult common sense with lies about the rule of law and a state governed by law,” Dodik wrote on X.
He stressed that someone who presents himself as a prosecutor should know that law is not the will of an individual, and that the rule of law is neither a personal whim nor a personal frustration.
“He may be able to sell that story to Sarajevo, but not to a people whose legal tradition dates back to Sretenje in 1835. Someone like Soreca is of no use to anyone, especially not to us,” Dodik said.
