The exhibition “Dream with Me” by contemporary Serb artist Teodora Jurić Miljuš has opened at the Kozara Museum in Prijedor. The exhibition presents a cycle of paintings inspired by dreams.
The “Dream with Me” series is inspired by the artist’s personal experience of vivid and intense dreams, says Teodora Jurić Miljuš. The most common motifs are the tree of life and staircases.
The artist is the daughter of Branko Miljuš, one of the most prominent visual artists from Prijedor and among the most respected Serb painters.
“Teodora Jurić Miljuš can be described as a world-renowned artist, as she has exhibited in a large number of countries across Europe and around the world. I would particularly highlight the relationship between the people of Prijedor and the artist herself, which is certainly connected to her father, Branko Miljuš,” said Nemanja Kuridža, Director of the Kozara Museum.
Teodora Jurić Miljuš is a member of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia and, since this year, also a member of the Association of Fine Artists of Prijedor.
