The remaining three matches of the penultimate 35th round of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina have been played. FK Radnik Bijeljina secured survival in the league with a 0–0 draw against FK Borac Banja Luka, while FK Sloga Doboj kept their survival hopes alive with a victory in Posušje. FK Rudar Prijedor lost all chances of staying in the top division after drawing 2–2 against HŠK Zrinjski Mostar in Prijedor.
One of the most important victories of the season for Sloga Doboj came at the “Mokri Dolac” stadium in Posušje.
With a 1–0 victory against a direct relegation rival, the Doboj side gained realistic chances of remaining in the top tier of Bosnian football next season. To secure survival, they now need to defeat Rudar Prijedor in the final round, while Borac must beat Posušje at home.
The only goal in Posušje was scored by Sergej Damjanić in the 88th minute.
In Bijeljina, the match between Radnik and Borac ended goalless. The Semberci were the better side for most of the match but failed to convert their chances, while the Banja Luka side looked for opportunities on the counterattack.
The draw was enough for the home team to celebrate survival in the league.
Rudar Prijedor, meanwhile, lost all chances of survival after drawing 2–2 with Zrinjski.
Rudar made an excellent start and took the lead in the fifth minute through Dani Romera, marking the Spaniard’s eighth goal of the season.
Nemanja Bilbija equalized in the 33rd minute with an impressive free-kick goal.
Just five minutes later, the Zrinjski captain scored with a header following a cross from Ivančić to give the visitors a 2–1 lead.
However, Ricmajer equalized in stoppage time of the first half to make it 2–2.
The second half also brought plenty of excitement. Romera found the net again in the 74th minute, but the goal was disallowed after a VAR review due to an earlier foul.
