Đorđe Perić won first place at the 20th International Accordion Festival PanoniAccordion 2026 held in Murska Sobota.
With a brilliant performance, Perić received the maximum 100 points from every member of the international jury, earning a gold award, according to a statement from the Kornelije Stanković Music School.
He was the only competitor to achieve a perfect score, and he prepared for the prestigious competition under the guidance of his professor Slaviša Perić.
At the festival’s closing concert, he performed the composition “I Wish You Love” by T. Danon, leaving a strong impression on both the audience and the expert jury.
“This great result represents another significant international recognition for Đorđe Perić and confirms the continuous work, talent, and outstanding artistic quality with which he continues to achieve success at prestigious European and global competitions,” the statement said.
