SNSD President Milorad Dodik stated that Serbs see their own victories in the struggle the Russian people are waging for their rights—victories that were not possible when the entire world attacked Serbia and Republika Srpska.
- Russia as a state and its president have the right to pursue a sovereign policy and to fight for the rights of the Russian Federation and the Russian people. This helps us, as Serbs, to see in the struggle of the Russian people certain victories of our own, which were not possible when the entire world attacked Serbia and Republika Srpska – Dodik said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Dodik stated that the West continues to exert pressure on Republika Srpska.
- The West and the EU continue to act destructively; they are not ceasing their destructive activities and plans against Republika Srpska and everything it represents. Every day they impose demands that are against us and demonstrate their hostile stance toward Republika Srpska and the Serb people – the SNSD president added.
Speaking about energy, Dodik said that the supply of energy resources to Republika Srpska is reliably secured only via Serbia from Russia.
- We see the foundation of our supply in connecting to the Eastern Interconnection. The only serious, long-term, and quality supply of energy resources can be expected from the East, via Serbia – Dodik said.
He also noted that the EU and Germany seek to exploit instability in the Balkans.
- Behind the pressure from the EU, and especially Germany, lie their ill intentions to destabilize the entire Balkans and use it for their own goals. This time not like Hitler with tanks, but in a different way, as they have conceived it—“liberally” – Dodik stated.
