What the director of the Srebrenica Memorial Center, Emir Suljagić, allows himself is an unprecedented scandal and an insult to all Jasenovac victims, said Saša Aulić, adviser to the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- He first threatened EU representatives that they would “pay dearly” simply because they paid tribute to Serb victims in Bratunac, and now he would like to decide who can bow to the victims in Jasenovac – Aulić wrote on X.
Aulić added that with “such individuals and such a way of thinking, Bosnia and Herzegovina has no future.”

The director of the Srebrenica Memorial Center, Emir Suljagić, sent a letter to the U.S. Special Envoy for Monitoring and Combating Antisemitism after his visit to Donja Gradina in Republika Srpska and his attendance at the commemoration of the Day of the Breakout of Jasenovac camp inmates were announced.
