The Police Orchestra of the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska held a concert in Trebinje for primary school pupils, who enjoyed children’s songs and compositions from famous Disney films.
Jelena Atlagić stated that the concert was tailored for children from the first to fourth grade and that the orchestra has already performed in numerous cities and municipalities across Republika Srpska.
- “The repertoire is fully adapted, with many children’s songs, and in the end they become our choir, singing along with us,” Atlagić said.
She reminded that the orchestra was established in 2017, consists of 22 professional musicians, and has since become part of official protocols of the Ministry of Interior and the Government of Republika Srpska.
Conductor Dušan Pokrajčić added that, in addition to children’s songs, the orchestra performs Disney-themed music, well-known international marches, and similar repertoire.
The concert was organized by the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska on the occasion of Police Day (April 4), in cooperation with the Cultural Center Trebinje.
