Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Savo Minić, met today in Banja Luka with the Ambassador of Switzerland to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gabriel Derighetti.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister thanked the Swiss ambassador for Switzerland’s continuous support and assistance to Republika Srpska through numerous projects, particularly in the areas of local development and support for the economy.
During the talks, issues of importance for improving relations between Republika Srpska and Switzerland were discussed. Both sides expressed confidence that relations would be further intensified in the coming period, with a special focus on economic topics and opportunities to expand business activities within the framework of joint cooperation.
In this context, the importance of cooperation between relevant institutions and the education system was emphasized, with the aim of better aligning educational profiles and programs with the needs of the economy and supporting development initiatives of mutual interest.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on the current situation in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the region, as well as on other significant topics.
