The ensemble Friends from the Vrbas from Banja Luka opened this year’s concert season very successfully with a full-evening concert held on Thursday, January 22.
The Council Hall of the Banski Dvor Cultural Center was filled to the last seat, and the audience sang along with the performers from beginning to end, rewarding their performances with long and enthusiastic applause.
A particularly notable appearance was delivered by members of the women’s vocal group BELLE DONE, led by Maja Tatić. They concluded their performance with an encore, performing the beautiful song “Gospodska ulica” by Boris Režak.
At the insistence of the audience, Friends from the Vrbas returned to the stage for an encore and performed the song “I’m a Little Gypsy Girl”, which the audience sang along to from start to finish, once again responding with prolonged applause.
