With a match between the national water polo teams of Italy and Spain, the international water polo tournament began today in Trebinje.
The tournament will also feature the national teams of Serbia, Hungary, Greece, and France.
Group A includes Serbia, Italy, and Spain, while Group B consists of Hungary, France, and Greece.
At 12:15, Greece will play France; at 18:15, Hungary will face Greece; and at 20:30, Serbia will meet Italy.
On Sunday, France will play Hungary at 18:15, followed by a match between Serbia and Spain at 20:30.
The semifinals and placement matches are scheduled for Monday, January 5.
The tournament will serve as preparation for the European Championship in Belgrade, which begins on January 10.
At the European Championship in Belgrade, held from January 10 to 25, Serbia will compete in Group C alongside the Netherlands, Spain, and Israel.
