The streets of the largest city in Semberija clearly signal that the holiday season is approaching. The city is putting on its festive look, and following the example of major European cities, the City Administration building, the promenade along Patriarch Pavle Street, the City Square, and the Museum of Semberija have all been decorated.
The countdown has begun for the switching on of the New Year’s lights on Tuesday, marking the start of holiday events and the Winter Korzo—a place of gathering, joy, and winter magic for families, children, and all generations.
“Bijeljina is ready to shine,” the Bijeljina Tourist Organization announced.
From December 23, 2025, to January 14, 2026, Bijeljina will host the festive event “Winter Korzo,” featuring a rich program designed for all age groups.
The official opening of the event will take place on December 23 at 7:00 p.m., when the New Year’s lights will be turned on, followed by a concert by the Neon Band.
The Winter Korzo will be open daily from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
