Hungary will continue its agricultural support program for Republika Srpska, while a second segment of assistance will focus on cooperation in higher education, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said at a press conference.
“We have decided that Hungary will continue its agricultural support for Srpska. We will launch a new program worth up to 4 billion forints, through which small and medium-sized enterprises can purchase agricultural equipment from Hungarian manufacturers,” Szijjártó said.

The second support program, he explained, concerns cooperation in higher education.
“Starting next year, Hungary will provide 50 scholarships for students who wish to study at universities in Hungary. From mid-November to January, they will be able to apply for these scholarships, which means that 50 of them can begin their studies in Hungary next year. These are important steps in further strengthening our cooperation,” Szijjártó emphasized.
As a reminder, Szijjártó received an honorary doctorate from the University of Banja Luka during his visit.
