Derventa: Rich cultural program throughout November

A vibrant November repertoire at the Derventa Cultural Center began with screenings of three films — “The Smurfs,” “Gabby’s Dollhouse,” and “The Black Phone 2.”

Last night, the play “The House” was performed by the National Theatre of Republika Srpska, written by Nebojša Cile Ilić and directed by Nikola Pejaković. The cast included Anđela Rakočević, Vladimir Đorđević, Željko Stjepanović, and Velimir Blanić.

On November 11, a book promotion by Dževad Galijašević is scheduled.

The Derventa Theatre, operating within the Cultural Center, will perform the play “Crazy Clowns” on November 18 in the main hall, followed two days later by the monodrama “Svetozar the Third” by Nas Teatar, starring Ivan Perković, in the small hall.

On Thursday, November 24, the audience will have the opportunity to attend a conversation with writer Vanja Bulić, while the month will conclude with another performance by the local theatre group — “Field of Dreams” — on November 27, an event the organizers are particularly proud of.

December’s program will open with the legendary Branko Đurić – Đuro and his show “Đurologija”, for which tickets have already sold out.

In December, residents will also have the chance to attend the premiere of a New Year’s play performed by the Cultural Center Theatre, as well as a screening of the film “Hajduk in Belgrade”, which will be attended by elementary and high school students.
