President Milorad Dodik has extended his condolences following the death of Colonel General Nebojša Pavković, stating that through his long military service, Pavković left an indelible mark in the history of the Serb people and the army that defended its land, skies, and nation.
“I was deeply saddened by the news of General Nebojša Pavković’s passing. As a great patriot, he carried out his officer’s duty with honor, responsibility, and dedication,” Dodik said.
He emphasized that General Pavković always fulfilled the tasks entrusted to him while also caring for the people he worked with.
“In these sorrowful moments, I extend my deepest condolences to his family, comrades, and friends. Eternal glory and gratitude for everything he did for his people and homeland,” Dodik wrote on X.
General Nebojša Pavković passed away in Belgrade at the age of 79.
