The 18th International Theatre Festival “Golden Fairy” will take place in Prijedor from November 3 to 8, featuring five theatre companies from Serbia, Croatia, and Republika Srpska, including three national theatres.
The festival will open on November 3 at 7:30 PM with the photo exhibition “In Memory of Ena” by Slobodan Ivetić, followed by the opening performance by the National Theatre of Priština — “The Performance of Hamlet in the Village of Mrduša Donja” by Ivo Brešan, directed by Jana Maričić.
The lineup continues with:
- November 4: “Serbia All Inclusive” — National Theatre Kikinda, text by Vladimir Đurđević, directed by Marko Misirača
- November 5: “Death on Leave” — Satirical Theatre Kerempuh, Zagreb, based on the novel by José Saramago, directed by Kokan Mladenović
- November 6: “Masters, Masters” — National Theatre of Republika Srpska, text by Goran Marković, directed by Marko Misirača
- November 7: “The Widow of a Living Man” — Zvezdara Theatre, Belgrade, written and directed by Dušan Kovačević
- November 8: Awards ceremony and concert by the String Orchestra of the National Theatre of Republika Srpska
All performances begin at 8:00 PM.
The festival’s accompanying program includes:
- November 4 at 5:00 PM: presentation of Zijah Sokolović’s book “An Actor… Is an Actor… Is an Actor”
- November 5 at 6:00 PM: conversation with actor Tarik Filipović
- November 7 at 6:00 PM: meeting with actor Miodrag Krstović
Ticket packages are available until the end of October for 70 KM, while individual tickets (20 KM each) will be sold starting November 3.
