Following the success of the inaugural Festival of Domestic Brandies “Rakije Srpske” held in October 2024, the Association of Alcohol Producers “Rakije Srpske” is organizing the second edition of this event dedicated to promoting local production and the centuries-old brandy-making tradition of Republika Srpska.
The “Rakije Srpske 2025” Festival will take place on October 24 at the New Lake Event Center (former “Jezero” restaurant) in Trn near Laktaši. Visitors will enjoy a rich program featuring tastings, brand presentations, and opportunities to meet producers of top-quality domestic rakija.
The goal of the festival is to support local production, connect distillers with consumers and rakija enthusiasts, and promote brandy culture throughout Republika Srpska. The event will also showcase traditional distillation techniques, carefully preserved and passed down through generations.
This year’s edition will also welcome distilleries from Serbia, giving them the chance to present their products to a broad audience of visitors, experts, and hospitality professionals.
The Festival “Rakije Srpske 2025” represents a true celebration of flavor, aroma, and local spirit — a gathering place of tradition, craftsmanship, and community.
The event is organized by the Association of Alcohol Producers “Rakije Srpske” and the Chamber of Commerce of Republika Srpska, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Republika Srpska and the City of Laktaši.
