The Potkozarska House in Prijedor has organized an autumn promotion of local products, offering customers a 10% discount over the next two days.
The event brought together numerous local agricultural producers, who use the Potkozarska House as a platform to showcase and market their goods.
“We’ve been partners of Potkozarska House and Krajiška House in Banja Luka since day one. Thanks to them, this year our aronia products reached ten SPAR branches in Austria, so every fair like this is always welcome,” said Amir Demirović from Demirović Plantations in Prijedor.
Nada Nešković Railić from Agro-Japra Cooperative in Novi Grad added that fairs and exhibitions are the best opportunity to present local products directly to consumers.
The Agricultural and Food Processing School in Prijedor also joined the event.
“Everything we’ve displayed today was grown in our greenhouses, produced on our school’s farm, and processed in our food technology classrooms,” explained Bojana Stojanović, a practical training professor at the school.
According to Dijana Aramanda, director of the Tourism Organization of the City of Prijedor, the initiative strengthens both the local economy and community ties.
“This is our first time organizing such an autumn market, inspired by similar events across Europe. It benefits both customers and small producers — offering quality local products at better prices,” Aramanda said.
Founded in 2023, Potkozarska House now collaborates with around 70 local producers and offers a selection of approximately 600 items, representing the best of the Potkozarje region’s agricultural and artisanal traditions.
