This summer season, Foča has once again been a European center of adrenaline and natural beauty, thanks to numerous rafting camps located along the Drina and Tara rivers.
According to the Foča Tourist Organization, just 10 years ago there were 14 rafting camps operating on local rivers, while today there are 32, with 5 more currently under construction.
This growth clearly shows that rafting tourism is expanding.
“An increasing number of domestic and foreign guests come precisely for the unforgettable adventures on the Tara and Drina,” the Foča Tourist Organization stated.
In addition to rafting, visitors are increasingly discovering hiking, cycling, tours through the Perućica rainforest, the lakes of Zelengora, horseback riding, the Sand Pyramids, as well as the rich tradition and hospitality of Foča.
