The president of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, speaking on the Morning Program, addressed the so-called malign influences, stressing that the only malign influence being imposed comes from Sarajevo.
If there is malign influence, Dodik pointed out, it is the one from Muslim-Bosniak nationalism.
He noted attempts to impose taxes and seize property, asking whether that is not malign.
“What is malign about Russians saying they want international law to be respected?” Dodik asked.
According to him, this narrative has been accepted by some Western actors who have tried to place Russia in a negative context.
Dodik told RTRS that Serbs and Russians have always been on the same side of history.
He added that, out of gratitude to the Romanov family, the Serb-Russian Orthodox Center was built in Banja Luka, where the first liturgy in its temple is being served today.
Dodik emphasized that the domes of the temple now dominate the city and explained that the site is not intended solely for a church, but will also include space for various events.
“When everything is finished in a year, it will be impressive, and those who criticize will see what it means as a whole,” said Dodik, adding that the construction was financed by the authorities of Srpska.
