Deputy Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers Aleksandar Goganović attended a formal reception in Sarajevo organized by the Chinese Embassy to mark the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
During talks with the Chinese ambassador and embassy representatives, Goganović emphasized that relations between BiH and China are at their highest level since the establishment of diplomatic ties, noting that the credit for such cooperation largely goes to the policy of the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and his excellent relations with the President of China and the Chinese leadership.
“This has opened the door to new forms of cooperation and investment,” Goganović pointed out.
He expressed confidence that bilateral cooperation will continue to deepen through strategically important projects, especially in the fields of economy, defense and education.
“Such meetings contribute to strengthening our international reputation and bringing tangible benefits to the citizens of Republika Srpska, as well as to all citizens of BiH,” Goganović said.
The reception was held at the “Hills” Hotel in Sarajevo and gathered representatives of the diplomatic corps, BiH institutions, and numerous distinguished guests.
