The president of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, was elected in a legitimate and democratic way, by the will of the citizens of Srpska who gave him the mandate, and the attempt to forcibly take away that mandate is a classic act of aggression against Republika Srpska and the Serb people, said Staša Košarac, deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers, in a statement to SRNA.
“What political Sarajevo, the Central Election Commission of BiH, and the unconstitutional Court and Prosecutor’s Office are doing in collusion with the illegitimate Christian Schmidt is classic aggression against Republika Srpska, aggression against the Constitution of Srpska, aggression against its president and institutions, against the freedom of will and the rights of the Serb people in BiH,” Košarac stressed.
He asked what the next step of political Sarajevo and Schmidt, the Serb-hater, would be — whether they would bring Serbs one by one before the unconstitutional judiciary, just as they were taken to camps during the war.
“If a clear boundary is not set today, tomorrow they will come for each of us, they will come for the property of Srpska, say that the name Republika Srpska cannot exist, say that Srpska itself cannot exist. If our struggle against their intentions is not united, politically and nationally responsible, we will lose Republika Srpska,” Košarac warned.
He assessed that a historic task lies ahead: to defend and protect Srpska by political and democratic means from the aggression of Sarajevo and international meddlers.
Košarac pointed out that the policy of President Dodik and the institutions of Srpska is a continuation of the struggle for Srpska, together with the Serb people.
According to him, it is up to the opposition to decide whether they are for Srpska or for BiH — whether they will stand on the side of defending the interests of Republika Srpska, or be in the team for BiH and those who want the disappearance of Srpska.
“I sincerely wish to believe that within the opposition structures there will be enough wisdom to recognize this historic moment for the defense of Srpska against those who promote unconstitutional solutions and unconstitutional institutions in their attempt to strike at Srpska and its institutions,” Košarac said.
The appellate division of the unconstitutional Court of BiH has rejected the appeal of the legal team of Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik against the decision of the Central Election Commission of BiH on the termination of the mandate of the president of Srpska.
