While the world continues to talk about the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump, Federal Television and Sarajevo-based media are promoting anti-Trump policies and criticizing his peace efforts.
The main protagonist is Ivica Puljić, who is close to BiH’s ambassador to the UN, Zlatko Lagumdžija.
Appearing on Federal Television, Puljić made shameful remarks about the American president, claiming that Trump is obsessed with the Nobel Peace Prize, while labeling his policy a moral catastrophe.
– Trump is doing what he always does – claiming that he is not guilty, that he is the man bringing peace and prosperity. Of course, we know that is not the case. He will blame both Volodymyr Zelensky and Europe, he will blame Putin as well, just to maintain himself, in his view, at the top. However, he lost a lot with this meeting in Alaska, but he will probably adjust to new situations, depending on whether they suit him. He has this obsession with wanting to win the Nobel Peace Prize and is convinced he deserves it – said Puljić, according to federal media reports.
