“Here, everyday life is full of traps and efforts to reduce and eliminate Republika Srpska. The same people are behind it every time – Bosniaks, Muslims. They are very compact,” said the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, in the Morning Program.
“Republika Srpska is for them a synonym for evil, and it is clear that this is a reckoning of Muslims with us Christians. They do not want to see Republika Srpska,” Dodik stated.
“We have a serious problem; we are in the final stages of our political struggle and path. This path will either see Republika Srpska distance itself from Sarajevo in search of its Dayton rights, or Republika Srpska will truly cease to exist,” Dodik said.
He reminded that previously high representatives would remove politicians unlawfully, outside of the constitution, and that these were mostly people from Republika Srpska.
“Americans imposed sanctions, Europeans followed closely. First, the high representative did it, then the Constitutional Court, and now everything is being transferred to regular courts, in which, for example, what happened to me is written – that the high representative is part of the constitutional order,” said Dodik.
He emphasized that this is a blatant lie.
“It is impossible to accept, but we know that he is creating a legal basis for the next story. Now we are reaching a key position where an act from a lower body is destroying the constitution,” Dodik pointed out.
He mentioned that what is happening here is the destruction of the Constitution.
“This nation must understand what is at stake. There is strong will in Republika Srpska to defend it. Logically, we wanted to say that this is our way and we are doing it. This is about an attack by Muslims on Christians. They want to create an oasis called Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Dodik emphasized.
According to Dodik, “We are their historical threat.”
“The fact is that today’s Bosniaks, in appearance, speech, and many surnames, are descended from Christians who converted to Islam. There remains some kind of trauma in the attempt to create a kind of nation, and this has been going on for centuries,” Dodik stated.
“It is obvious,” said the President of Republika Srpska, “that the Balkans are now in focus.”
“We are defending our way of life here. It’s not just about the person. I am being accused because I signed a decree. For 20 years, they’ve been trying to invent some charge for persecution,” said Dodik.
