A delegation from Tatarstan has arrived for a multi-day visit to Republika Srpska. The visit was agreed upon as part of the cooperation agreement signed between Republika Srpska and Tatarstan during a meeting held in June between the President of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and a delegation from this Russian republic.
The agreement provides for cooperation in all sectors—including culture, education, tourism, and the economy.
During their stay in Srpska, a series of meetings with business representatives in Gradiška and Laktaši is planned, as well as an Economic Forum in Banja Luka.
A meeting between President Milorad Dodik and the Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan and Minister of Industry and Trade, Oleg Korobchenko, is scheduled to take place at the Palace of the Republic. This will be followed by a meeting of the delegations of Republika Srpska and Tatarstan, which will include top officials from Srpska as well as the Ambassador of Russia to BiH, Igor Kalabukhov.
