Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac emphasized that the Russian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Igor Kalabukhov, expressed his support today for Košarac’s idea of potentially constructing a Serb-Russian House near the bust of former Russian diplomat Vitaly Churkin in East Sarajevo.
“It is a great honor and pleasure that we always have open, sincere, and well-intentioned conversations, from which excellent ideas are often born,” Košarac wrote on Instagram after what he described as a friendly meeting with Kalabukhov in East Sarajevo.
Košarac expressed satisfaction that Kalabukhov supported his idea and added that active efforts will be made toward its realization.
“Russia is our friend. As I recently said in Saint Petersburg, Republika Srpska is strong because it has a strong Russia behind it,” Košarac concluded.
