President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik will meet today with Rod Blagojevich, former governor of the U.S. state of Illinois, a man with a rich political background, now a prominent public speaker and close associate of U.S. President Donald Trump.
Following the meeting, which will be held at the Palace of the Republic, statements to the media are planned.
The president of Republika Srpska said he welcomed Rod Blagojevich, a sincere friend of the Serb people, emphasizing that neither of them kneels before anyone.
Dodik stated that Blagojevich, former governor of Illinois, is a true friend of the Serb people and a man who, like him, knows what it’s like “when you are judged by those who cannot stand free people.”
Blagojevich is remembered in American political history as one of the youngest governors of Illinois, who launched significant reforms in healthcare, education, and the fight against poverty.
