Staša Košarac, Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers, met with Maria Zakharova, spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the International Economic Forum in Saint Petersburg. On this occasion, he reiterated his gratitude to Russia for its principled position on Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially regarding the illegitimacy of Christian Schmidt.
He emphasized that Russia’s support in the UN Security Council is of particular importance.
Košarac thanked Zakharova for the help and overall support that Russia provides to Republika Srpska, both politically and economically.
“Our relations are on an upward trajectory in all areas, based on the excellent relations and friendship between Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik and Russian President Vladimir Putin,” said Košarac.
Earlier, Košarac announced that the export of pork and beef, milk, dairy products, poultry meat and products, as well as fish products to the Russian Federation has been approved.
