Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković stated that the (unconstitutional) Court and Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina are instruments in the service of the unitarization of BiH, which is unacceptable for the Serb people.
“If the Court and Prosecutor’s Office operated according to the law and Constitution of the country still called BiH, they would be prosecuting those attacking Republika Srpska,” Višković said in the show Telering.
He emphasized that the proceedings against Srpska officials before the unconstitutional judiciary of BiH are a political showdown with the institutions of Republika Srpska.
Višković insisted that he had not violated the Constitution of BiH, but that everything he had done was in accordance with the Constitution, the law, and the Rules of Procedure of the Government of Republika Srpska.
“Which law makes me a fugitive? Which court? A court that does not judge based on law, but on someone’s order, out of hatred and revenge? Which law and article are being imposed on us? The one that Christian Schmidt imposed by decision in the Criminal Code and then upgraded with charges of attacking the constitutional order of BiH and other offenses,” said the Prime Minister of Srpska, adding that Schmidt has no authority in BiH.
He added that the verdicts against Srpska officials have already been written.
“If the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić, and I were to appear before the Court today, they already have the verdict prepared,” Višković claimed.
The Prime Minister of Srpska believes the solution to the crisis in BiH is dialogue.
“We need to sit down and admit that this cannot continue. If they don’t want that, then it leads to an independent Republika Srpska. If Republika Srpska is not wanted within BiH, then they themselves are pushing it out of BiH,” Višković emphasized.
Commenting on the cancellation of the European Rabbis’ Conference in Sarajevo, Višković said Christian Schmidt was behind it, claiming that he had invited the rabbis to BiH without having any mandate to do so.
“By what right, and on whose behalf did he invite them—in his own name, in the name of BiH, or its institutions? And then what happened? Apparently nothing—he ‘warmly’ recommended they hold the event in Germany instead. Schmidt is causing real international problems for BiH. BiH has suffered irreparable damage because of a man who holds no official authority, who leads no institution, and who is exempt from all laws and obligations,” Višković stressed.
He concluded that this was a political blunder with unforeseeable consequences, for which no one will be held accountable.
“If someone from Republika Srpska had done that, it would be making headlines everywhere,” he said.
