The annual concert of the University of Banja Luka, titled “A Gift to the Republic”, will be held tonight on the plateau in front of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University campus.
This ceremonial concert is part of the events marking the 50th anniversary of successful work and development of the University of Banja Luka. It will also mark the end of the 2024/2025 academic year, as well as World Music Day.
The Symphony Orchestra of the Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka will perform under the baton of Branka Radošević Mitrović. The audience will enjoy music from domestic and international films, as well as a special surprise – a joint performance by the symphony orchestra and a guest DJ.
“A Gift to the Republic” continues the tradition started last year, when the University of Banja Luka organized its first open-air annual concert in the same location. Last year’s concert attracted great public interest and received very positive feedback, laying the foundation for a new musical tradition at the university, the university administration stated.
The general sponsor of the concert is the Office of the President of Republika Srpska, while RTRS is the official media sponsor.
