The fourth “Dr Borislav Šokčević” cycling event in Gradiška gathered more than 500 participants, undeterred even by the tropical weather, as they rode a 13-kilometre route from the city center on the Sava River to the lake in Laminci.
For around 70 of the youngest participants, a special cycling course was organized on the plateau of the Gradiška Cultural Center, and all of them took part in a prize draw where the main prize was a children’s bicycle.
A bicycle was also the grand prize for the luckiest participant who crossed the finish line at the lake in Laminci.
The event was organized by the city’s Tourist Organization and the “Challenge” Cycling Club, with support from the city administration.
